Transformative Programs for Students, Parents, and Educators

TikTok teaches our girls to be sad.

Instagram tells them they’re not pretty enough.

Girl Talk tells the truth…

You are enough. You are worthy. You are loved.

For over a decade, adolescent mental health rates have been declining. As of 2023, 53% of teenage girls felt persistently sad or hopeless. They have forgotten their inherent value.

We can change that.

Girl Talk Coffeehouses

A Coffeehouse is designed to provide teenage girls with hospitality, sisterhood, and a space for self-discovery. In their developmental years, young women are asking themselves: Who am I? Will I ever belong? Do I matter? Serving as “big sister” mentors, Girl Talk Ambassadors answer these critical questions by sharing personal stories of body image, relationships, and struggles with self-worth. The girls experience a friend in the fight–they know they are not alone. They arrive with insecurities, and walk away with a newfound sense of true confidence.

Even though I didn’t know these women who were talking at my high school coffeehouse, I felt like I really got to know them because they told me about their experiences when they were my age…And guess what? They’re not just perfect and beautiful sitting up there..they actually went through challenges in their lives, just like I’m going through.
— Mariana, High School Sophomore

Parent Seminars

At Girl Talk, we believe in supporting young women, as well as their families. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children, and it is our goal to collaborate with you to foster your daughter’s deepest identity. Led by experts in the mental health field, our Parent Seminars provide valuable insights, practical tools, and resources to help moms and dads nurture their daughters' self-worth and confidence.

Empower your daughter to thrive.

I have seen the impact that Girl Talk has had on my daughter. It’s given her a sense of place, of belonging, self-worth and a sisterhood.

Our comprehensive training sessions provide educators with evidence-based strategies, practical techniques, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by today's youth. Join us in fostering truly confident and capable young women!

Your honesty, vulnerability, and approachability have been a great gift to the school. In true Girl Talk fashion, your visit has opened the door to communication and provided a common language with our girls.
