A Personal Development Program for Inspiring Leaders

The Girl Talk Institute is a personal development program for leaders with a heart for the dignity of women.

Our vision is for women to discover their identity as daughters of God and inspire true confidence through our sisterhood of self-worth.

The Girl Talk Institute prepares Ambassadors to serve young women through:

  • Mentorship

  • Personal Storytelling

  • Authentic Connection

The program highlights experts in the mental health field, provides evidence-based leadership training within the framework of human dignity, and teaches the tools needed to discover and inspire true confidence. The Institute combines the power of content and community, offering small group sisterhood for women to thrive.

2025 Girl Talk Ambassadors

Crystal Gallegos Perez

Crystal is a fourth year student at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) majoring in Applied Psychology with a minor in Spanish and Sociology. She is a Mexican-American girl who grew up on the south side of Chicago. On her free time she appreciates good food, music, books, and quality time with friends and family. She is thrilled to play a part in Girl Talk Institute alongside amazing women to help other women become fully alive in their identity as beloved daughters of God and embrace the innate dignity that comes with it.

Hannah Regan

Hannah received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wheaton College. Since graduating, she has worked as a program manager at Metro Achievement Center, a non-profit organization that provides holistic enrichment programs for girls from low-income families. She is passionate about supporting the resilience of girls and is grateful everyday to work at an organization that is committed to helping girls to know their worth and live virtuously. In addition to her work at Metro, she is involved in a psychological research lab at Wheaton College that is focused on identifying risk factors for anxiety and depression in youth and resilience factors that support positive development. This past summer, she presented research on developmental risk trajectories for alcohol use disorders at the annual American Psychological Association conference. Outside of work, Hannah loves spending time with family and friends, reading a good book, hiking, and practicing taekwondo. In the near future, she hopes to pursue a graduate degree in clinical psychology and specialize in child and adolescent psychology.

Becky Tatz

While Becky enjoyed using her Bachelor's in Hospitality at a cultural event space, COVID-19 presented her with new opportunities to obtain her Master's degree from North Park University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Becky is currently working at Vita Optimum Counseling and Consulting and has enjoyed growing from a clinical intern to a clinical associate, seeking her LPC. She finds great joy in journeying with her clients so they can discover the truth, goodness, and beauty in themselves and share their gifts with the world. It is her honor to receive the suffering and joys that her clients bravely share. During her personal time, Becky values staying connected to her family in Ohio, fostering her community relationships, and embracing new experiences, particularly through travel. Becky's upcoming goals are to pick up the Irish banjo and learn Spanish.

Marissa Mullins

Marissa hails from the dairy state and lives in the great city of Chicago. She is a nurse practitioner in the oncology field who has a variety of experience in the field and has lived coast to coast as a travel nurse.

I want to be that mentor–that big sister–that I so desperately needed in high school, that I searched for during  my transition from high school to college. I want to be there for those girls that are going through life’s bumps and bruises and I want to help them find a soft place to land and embrace their true selves.
